PROJECT MANAGER AND ESTIMATOR (PART TIME)

JOB SUMMARY: COORDINATE AND MANAGE MULTIPLE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS. PREPARE ESTIMATES FOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS BASED ON QUOTATIONS, PLANS/DRAWINGS, AND SPECIFICATIONS.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Evaluate plans and specifications to gain understanding of project requirements.
-Estimate labor, material, and equipment required based on project requirements.
-Solicit bids from subcontractors and vendors.
-Analyze and evaluate bids based on project requirements.
-Prepare estimates.
-Oversee day-to-day field activities on job sites to ensure the project milestone dates are being met.
-Coordinate subcontractors and crew on job sites.
-Oversee projects to maintain all aspects of safety, quality control, and cost control.
-Manage inspections.
-Create and track change orders, purchase orders, and submittals.
-Communicate with supervisors on daily basis to report on project progress and delays.

SKILLS & SPECIFICATIONS:

-Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
-Detail oriented.
-Ability to multitask.
-Strong team leadership project management skills.
-Ability to be flexible in position.
-Positive, Can-do Attitude.
-Ability to deliver top-quality/excellent customer service.
-General knowledge in building and construction.
-Proficient in reading plans and finish specifications.
-Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
-Willingness to travel if the need arises.
